A series of training courses on geriatric health and Medical care will be held in Beijing in 2023

 

From November 11 to 14, 2023, the 2023 "Geriatric Health and Medical Care Series Training Course" co-sponsored by the Chinese Geriatric Society and the National Clinical Medical Research Center for Geriatric Diseases (PLA General Hospital) was successfully held in Beijing .

The training course focuses on the strategy of helping a healthy China, strengthening the training and training of auxiliary nursing personnel, improving the ability of practitioners to provide care services, and meeting the diversified and differentiated health needs of people in the aging society at this stage. Professor Zhang Qiujian, honorary director of the Expert Committee of the Chinese Geriatric Society and chief editor of Practical Geriatric Psychological Care, shared the "Prospect of the new career of Mental health Care for the Elderly", discussed the background, current situation and basic connotation of active aging in view of the "difference" of aging, and stressed the importance of psychological care for the elderly and the professional construction of geriatric psychological care teachers. It has inspired the planning and thinking of training geriatric psychological care teachers, and advocated the dedication spirit of great love and great kindness and the sense of nursing value.

Professor Wang Yue, deputy dean of Peking University School of Medical Humanities and Health Law tutor, put forward the care concept of "people-oriented, starting from the heart", and explained how to improve individual psychological influence behavior ability in clinical work from three aspects of personality psychology, dynamic system and psychological process, and enhance health care skills for the elderly.

The training course also invited Professor Du Gangpo from the School of Continuous Teaching of Tsinghua University to teach teaching methods from the aspects of creating a learning atmosphere, building a course structure, optimizing teaching details, etc., to improve the teaching ability of elderly care teachers. Professor PI Hongying, president of the Medical Care Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society and former director of the Nursing Department of the PLA General Hospital, presented a set of systematic and scientific fall prevention and control models for the elderly, and made in-depth explanations on elderly falls, community aging environment construction, exercise cognitive risk, elderly fall risk assessment and intervention, etc. It also inspires us to prevent and control elderly falls from three aspects: risk assessment, intervention training, and fall disposal, so as to accurately improve elderly health care skills, improve professional care level, and promote the development of elderly care in China with practical actions.

Professor Tu Qilei, president of the Health Management Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society and dean of the College of Elderly Welfare of the Training Center of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, shared the "Community medical and nursing combined service model based on smart health Management", and discussed the background, current situation and basic connotation of active aging in view of the "difference" of aging, emphasizing the urgent need for the establishment and implementation of community medical and nursing combined service model. As well as the importance of the construction of the elderly nurse profession, it has inspired the new positioning and thinking of the home care model for the elderly, and advocated a new pattern of old-age care based on family, community and medical institutions.
