On December 16, 2023, the launch conference of the pilot project of the service standardization of medical and nursing institutions of the Chinese Geriatric Society was successfully held in Beijing, and the leaders of the Standards Office of the Department of Regulations and Regulations of the National Health Commission and the Department of Medical and Nursing Combination of the Department of Aging Health attended the meeting. The conference was jointly sponsored by the Standardization Working Committee of the Chinese Geriatrics Society, the Working Committee of the combination of medical and nursing care and the Promotion Committee of the combination of medical and nursing care. Chinese Geriatrics Society and other relevant units leaders, experts, representatives of the pilot project undertaking units attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Qin Xiaoling, honorary director of the Standardization Working Committee of the society, and was divided into two stages: project launch ceremony and standardization training.

Fan Li, President of the Chinese Geriatric Society, attended the launching meeting. President Fan Li pointed out that China's aging degree is getting higher and higher, and the demand for the combination of medical care is becoming more and more vigorous. The combination of medical and nursing care has become an important livelihood and social issue. Since its establishment in 2015, the Chinese Geriatric Society has implemented the requirements of the Party Central Committee, The State Council and relevant ministries on the combination of medical and nursing care, and has worked closely with the National Clinical Medical Research Center for Geriatric Diseases (PLA General Hospital) and other units to carry out theoretical research and practice of the combination of medical and nursing care, explore and innovate, and has made certain achievements and been fully affirmed by the competent authorities. In order to promote the standardization of service construction of medical and nursing institutions, the society decided to carry out the "pilot project of standardization of medical and nursing institutions service" of the Chinese Geriatrics Society.

Wang Lijuan, director of the Department of Aging Health of the National Health Commission, delivered a speech on behalf of the Department of Aging Health. She introduced the progress of the work of the National Health Commission in promoting the combination of medical and nursing care, affirmed the achievements of the Chinese Geriatrics Society in promoting the combination of medical and nursing care work, and put forward requirements and hopes for the "pilot project of standardization of services in the combination of medical and nursing care institutions".

At the second stage of the standardization training meeting, Niu Hongli, director of the Standardization Department of the Department of Regulations and Regulations of the National Health Commission, gave a lecture on the theme of "Overview of Health standardization Work". This paper introduces the work of health standardization in China comprehensively and systematically, and puts forward guiding opinions and suggestions for the project of "pilot service standardization of institutions combining medical and nursing care".

Mr. Yao Xiaojing, a former researcher of the National Standards and Technical Review Department, gave a lecture on the theme of "Basic Knowledge of Standardization", especially introduced the work of group standards of the Chinese Geriatrics Society, and put forward specific guidance and suggestions for the development and implementation of the "pilot project of standardization of services of medical and nursing institutions".

 

Xu Weihua, director of the Working Committee of the Medical and Nursing Combination of the Chinese Geriatric Society, read the relevant guide documents for the pilot work. Yang Lifei, director of the Standardization Working Committee of the Chinese Geriatric Society, made a summary speech to the meeting.
