On July 9, 2023, the "9th China Geriatrics and Technology Innovation Conference - 2023 Academic Annual Meeting of Chinese Geriatrics Society Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Branch" was held in Fuzhou, attended by more than 100 experts and scholars from all over the country. Professor Shao Jing, Vice President of the Chinese Geriatric Society, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Professor Liu Deshan, Vice president of the Chinese Geriatric Society, President of the Branch of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine, and Director of the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Shandong University Qilu Hospital, attended the meeting. Qiao Yun, general director of the Chinese Geriatric Society Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine Branch, presided over the meeting.

  Vice President Shao Jing delivered a speech, and on behalf of the Chinese Geriatric Society, first expressed warm congratulations on the convening of this meeting. Professor Shao Jing pointed out: Since its establishment, the Branch of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine has held many high-level academic exchanges and made outstanding achievements in epidemic prevention and control, rural revitalization and grassroots support. In particular, the Branch has conducted more than 80 public welfare lectures in online medical voice classes in 2022, and participated in online learning exchanges with more than 20,000 people, playing a leading role in the branch. Became the highlight and model of branch work, and made outstanding contributions to the development of geriatric medicine in our country. The holding of this annual meeting will further promote the in-depth development of China's integrated traditional and Western medicine prevention and treatment of geriatric diseases.       The meeting summarized the achievements made by the Branch of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine in academic exchanges, science popularization, free medical assistance and committee development in 2022, and arranged the work for 2023. President Liu Deshan also put forward the goals and requirements for the future academic exchange, organizational construction, committee development and regional cooperation of the Chinese and Western Medicine Association Branch.

       The Association of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Branch actively carried out organizational construction work, and the meeting added 6 standing members and 45 members.
