Vice President and Secretary-General Xu Xiaodong attended the training course for the heads of the Party organizations of social organizations under the Ministry of Civil Affairs

 

From May 7th to 8th, the Ministry of Civil Affairs held a meeting to organize the Party organizations of social organizations under its jurisdiction

Two comrades, Xu Xiaodong, Vice President and secretary-general of the Chinese Society of Geriatrics, and Xuan Aiju, Deputy Director of the Office, attended the training. Nearly 100 Party organization leaders of social organizations under the Ministry of Civil Affairs participated in the training course.

This training is organized by the Ministry of Civil Affairs to further promote the study of the history of the Communist Party of China in the social organizations under its management, enhance the effectiveness of the study and education, and further improve the Party building capabilities of the responsible persons of the Party organizations in the social organizations under its management. At the opening ceremony, Liu Zheng, the Party Secretary of the Comprehensive Party Committee of Social Organizations under the Ministry of Civil Affairs, Director of the Social Organization Administration Bureau and Party Secretary of the Social Organization Service Center, pointed out in his mobilization speech that the heads of Party organizations are the ";key minority" among the social organizations under the Ministry's management and are the focus of the study of the history of the Communist Party of China carried out by these organizations. Carrying out concentrated study and training is an inherent need to further enhance the initiative and consciousness of the study of the history of the Communist Party of China in the social organizations under the jurisdiction of the Ministry, identify the focus and ultimate goal of the study of the history of the Communist Party of China, and strengthen the confidence and determination to follow the path of development of social organizations with Chinese characteristics. This training adopted various forms such as thematic teaching, on-site teaching and situational teaching. At the martyrs' cemetery, we renewed our oath of joining the Party and laid wreaths in honor of the revolutionary martyrs.

Liu Zheng, the Party Secretary of the Comprehensive Party Committee of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Director of the Social Organization Administration Bureau, and the Party Secretary of the Center, delivered a special lecture. Professor Song Liuqing from the Jinggangshan Cadre Education College elaborated on the Jinggangshan Struggle and the Jinggangshan spirit. Through visits, studies and lectures, the participants further deepened their understanding of "learning history to understand reason", "learning history to strengthen faith" and "learning history to cultivate virtue", enhanced their recognition of the nature and purpose of the Party, and strengthened their awareness of the Party and their sense of being a Party member.

On the afternoon of May 10th, the Chinese Society of Geriatrics organized a study on the history of the Communist Party of China. Vice President and Secretary-General Xu Xiaodong conveyed the meeting spirit of the training course for the heads of the Party organizations of the social organizations under the Ministry of Civil Affairs. She pointed out that the Jinggangshan Spirit is a spirit worthy of our learning and practice at any time. Learning the Jinggangshan Spirit and the history of the Communist Party of China is the foundation for enhancing personal cultivation, strengthening the Party's leadership, and following the path of socialist development with Chinese characteristics. We should continue to follow the requirements of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, further study the history of the Communist Party of China, deeply understand its connotation, and thoroughly interpret the Party's spirit and lines and policies, so as to promote the better development of the work of the society.
