As the annual brand meeting of the Chinese Geriatric Society, this conference invited 6 experts to make invited reports, and 4 vice presidents to make invited report hosts. 178 experts and scholars made academic reports in 16 theme forums. 166 academic exchange papers were received, 55 institutions participated in the exhibition of scientific and technological products, and 17 media journalists participated in publicity reports. The total number of leaders, guests and representatives attending the conference was more than 2,500, and its scale ranked first in the academic exchange activities of geriatric medicine in China.

       This conference is also the first anniversary of the establishment of the Chinese Geriatric Society. Over the past year, the society has adhered to the management requirements of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, adhered to the law and democratically run the meeting, and the core is to do a good job in system construction, functional departments and branch organization construction. Branches have been established: Laboratory medicine, geriatric medical institution management, hypertension, endocrine metabolism, cognitive disorders, combination of medical and nursing promotion, infection management quality control, basic and translational medicine, nutrition and food safety, burn trauma, cerebrovascular disease, Neuromedicine branch. At this conference, four chapters were established: Cardiovascular disease, Medical Care, Epidemiology and Disease Prevention, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. The second China Geriatrics and Technology Innovation Conference Medical and Nursing Combination Academic forum was held, and the Chinese Geriatrics Society "Internet + Medical and nursing combination Demonstration Village" was unveiled in Dongxuying Village, Loudi Town, Luancheng District, Shijiazhuang, Hebei

The second Council meeting of the first Council of the Chinese Geriatric Society held during the congress discussed issues closely related to the development of the society. Strategic cooperation agreements were signed with 9 institutions, including Yiling Pharmaceutical and Chongzhou Municipal Government, to jointly promote the development of geriatric medicine in China and scientific and technological progress.
