As China is the world's most populous country, the number of new cancer cases and deaths ranks first in the world. Among the new cancer cases in China, colorectal cancer has always had a high incidence. In order to reduce the incidence of colorectal cancer, colonoscopy is the most effective and direct method at present.

    What are the benefits of colonoscopy?

1 Colonoscopy is the most important method for early detection of colorectal cancer, and its sensitivity to screening for colorectal cancer can be as high as 90%.

2 95% of bowel cancer is the evolution of colon polyps, intestinal polyps from benign to malignant, generally after 15 to 20 years, colonoscopy once found polyps can be removed immediately, and can be biopsied for pathological diagnosis.

3 In daily life, small polyps growing on the intestinal wall are difficult to be found or have uncomfortable symptoms, but its existence will be a "time bomb", and some will become cancerous, so early detection and removal of intestinal polyps can directly block its development into cancer.

4 Early detection of colorectal cancer, the cure rate can reach more than 90%, can save the precious lives of most patients and reduce the huge cost of late treatment, colonoscopy screening can allow patients to obtain the greatest benefits at the least cost.


Who needs a colonoscopy?

(1) there are symptoms such as blood in the stool, black stool, or long-term stool occult blood test positive; Stool with mucus, pus and blood;
