On May 12, 2024, the "Psoriasis Diagnosis and Treatment Progress Conference of Dermatology Branch of Chinese Geriatric Society" hosted by the Dermatology Branch of Chinese Geriatric Society was successfully held in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province. The meeting was sponsored by the Dermatology Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society, hosted by the First Hospital of Hebei Medical University, and co-organized by the Department of Dermatology and venereology of Capital Medical University. We will conduct in-depth discussions and exchanges on the hot spots and difficult issues in the diagnosis and treatment of psoriasis, build a platform for clinicians and experts to communicate and interact, and help the majority of young and middle-aged dermatologists to improve the level of clinical diagnosis and treatment and promote academic exchanges.

The chairman of the meeting, Professor Zhu Wei, President of the Dermatology Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society, delivered the opening speech, and Professor Zhang Guoqiang, Standing Committee member of the Dermatology Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society, and Professor Duan Xinsuo, Affiliated Hospital of Chengde Medical College presided over the meeting.

We specially invited Professor Zhao Hua from the First Medical Center of the PLA General Hospital to make a keynote report on "Treatment of Psoriasis in special sites", Professor Dong Ningning from the Provincial Hospital Affiliated to Shandong First Medical University to make a keynote report on "Treatment Choice of psoriasis patients with renal insufficiency", and Professor Yin Zhiqiang from Jiangsu Provincial People's Hospital to make a keynote report on "Psoriasis with palmoplantular pustular manifestations and neutrophil necrosis in psoriasis" Professor Lei Mingjun of Hebei Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine made a theme report of "Earlier Start, Better Modification - Achieving Super Response in first-line systematic Treatment of Biologics"; Professor Zhao Yi of Tsinghua University Affiliated Changgeng Hospital made a theme report of "Screening tool for psoriatic arthritis"; Professor Peng Cong of Xiangya Hospital of Central South University made a theme report of "Metabolism and Psoriasis". More than 100 delegates attended the conference and spoke highly of the academic depth and breadth of the conference, indicating that the harvest is full.

President Zhu Wei concluded that this meeting jointly discussed the latest progress and research direction of the treatment of psoriasis and other inflammatory skin diseases, and shared their research results and clinical experience, which not only provided a platform for the majority of dermatology colleagues to learn and exchange, but also brought new hope and inspiration for psoriasis patients.
