On the eve of the Party's founding Day, in order to strengthen the construction of the Party organization of the branch, enhance the cohesion and sense of responsibility of the team, and further carry forward the fine traditions of the Party, President Yang Tingshu of the Medical and Elderly Care Integration Promotion Committee of the China Geriatrics Society led the leadership team of the branch to Liu Gong Island, Weihai, Shandong Province on June 23, 2024, to carry out an activity with the theme of "Learning New Ideas". A Party building activity with the theme of "Writing a New Chapter".

At the beginning of the event, President Yang Tingshu and the leadership team of the branch reviewed the glorious history of the Party and the heroic deeds of revolutionary martyrs at the patriotic education base on Liugong Island. By visiting the Memorial Hall of the First Sino-Japanese War, seeing the pictures and physical objects inside, all of which tell of those years of blood and fire, life and death, and bear witness to the humiliating and struggling journey of the Chinese nation, we deeply feel the weight of history.

During the Party building activities on Liu Gong Island, in light of the historical background, we conducted in-depth thinking on the integration of medical care and elderly care. As professionals in the field of geriatrics, we have the responsibility to implement the concept of integrating medical care and elderly care in our practical work. We will take this event as an opportunity to forge ahead, constantly explore and innovate on the path of integrating medical care and elderly care, and contribute our wisdom and strength to the health and happiness of the elderly.

Through this Party building activity, the leadership team of the branch has further strengthened their ideals and beliefs and enhanced their Party spirit cultivation.
