Deputy Director

Ouyang Xiaojun, MD, is a chief physician, associate professor, and master's supervisor. He serves as the vice president of Jiangsu Provincial Geriatric Hospital and the director of the Geriatric Frailty and Nutritional Metabolism Research Laboratory. He has served as a visiting scholar at the International Diabetes Center in the United States, the University of Oklahoma in the United States, and the Institute of Diabetes and Obesity at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, China. Recipients of the "333 Project" and the "Six Major Talent Peaks"; in Jiangsu Province.

He/She has participated in over 10 research projects at various levels including national, provincial and municipal ones, and has published more than 40 papers as the first or corresponding author. He/She has also edited or co-edited over 10 textbooks and monographs. Won 4 awards including the Jiangsu Medical New Technology Introduction Award and 3 software Copyrights. The main academic positions include Vice President of the Geriatric Medical Institutions Branch of the Chinese Geriatrics Society, Standing Committee Member of the Geriatric Disease Prevention and Control Branch of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, First and Second Chairperson of the Metabolism and Frailty Specialized Committee of the Jiangsu Geriatrics Society, Vice Chairperson of the Geriatric Medicine Branch of the Jiangsu Medical Association, Vice President of the Geriatric Medicine Physicians Branch of the Jiangsu Physicians Association, etc. Editorial board member of "Practical Geriatrics", "Chinese Journal of Osteoporosis", "Chinese Journal of Clinical Health Care", etc., provincial guidance expert for the vocational skills level assessment of elderly Capacity assessors and health managers.
