On the occasion of the International Nurses Day on May 12th, the "Silver Hair Health, Passed on from Generation to Generation" Silver Age Health Party Building + Public Welfare Activity, hosted by the Geriatric Medical Institution Management Branch of the China Geriatrics Society and organized by Jiangyou Hospital in Sichuan Province, came to a successful conclusion. The "Silver Age Health Service Team", composed of Party member medical staff as the core and young nurses as the backbone, has been on the front line, providing free blood pressure and blood sugar testing services to over 200 elderly people. They have registered and filed each abnormal value, provided on-site guidance and intervention, and retained contact information for subsequent follow-up visits. The team of Party member experts led the nursing team to focus on high-incidence diseases among the elderly such as hypertension, diabetes, chronic pain, and falls and injuries, and carried out "one-on-one" chronic disease management guidance, tailoring personalized intervention plans for the elderly. The nursing team presented a free medical consultation service as a tribute to International Nurses Day. They taught the elderly the skills of self-measuring blood pressure and blood sugar at home step by step, and conducted special education on low-salt, low-fat and low-sugar diets, balanced diets and fall prevention in simple and understandable language. They also distributed over 160 personalized "health prescriptions" on the spot. Meanwhile, the event specially set up a consultation desk for policies benefiting the people. Staff members patiently interpreted the application conditions and standards for elderly care service consumption subsidies, demonstrated the application process of the "Civil Affairs Pass" mini-program in practice, and gave advance explanations of policies benefiting the people such as long-term care insurance. They answered more than 50 questions from the public in total, fully promoting the transformation from "people seeking policies" to "policies seeking people", and bringing warm services directly to the hearts of the people.

This public welfare activity adheres to its original aspiration through practical actions and warms people's hearts with services.
