Chinese Geriatrics Society releases two standards tribute World Standards Day
October 14, 2020 marks the 51st World Standards Day. The Chinese Society of Geriatrics today also released the group standard of "Standard for Geriatric Health Care Providers";, numbered T/CGSS 015-2020, and the group standard of "Standard for Comprehensive Assessment of Falls Risk in the Elderly", numbered T/CGSS 014-2020, marking the World Standards Day.
World Standards Day is the anniversary of the founding of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). October 14 was chosen as World Standards Day. The purpose of World Standards Day is to raise awareness of the importance of international standardization in world economic activities in order to promote the adaptation of international standardization work to the needs of business, industry, governments and consumers worldwide. This international festival is a gift to the thousands of volunteers who work on standardization around the world.
