President Fan Li made a report entitled ";Scientific and Technological Innovation Research and Management of Proactive Response to Geriatric Comorbiditions";, focusing on the cooperative research results of the Chinese Geriatric Society and the National Geriatric Clinical Medical Research Center of the PLA General Hospital in the field of "scientific and technological innovation and practice of Geriatric medicine". It emphasizes the importance, key and urgency of exploring the mechanism of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of senile comorbidities, constructing the system of combining medical and nursing care, and promoting the construction of geriatric medicine disciplines and personnel training. It is pointed out that the association will organize relevant branches and experts from the Academic Committee of the National Geriatric Clinical Medical Research Center of the PLA General Hospital to compile two group standards for comorbidity, namely, Basic Requirements for the Establishment of Facilities of the Combined Medical and Nursing Service Institutions and the Standard for the Rating of the Combined Medical and Nursing Service Institutions. Together with the already published "Standards for Elderly nursing staff", "Standards for Elderly Friendly Services", "General Principles for Elderly Nutrition Formula Food", etc., the systematic research and practice system of "combined medical and nursing services and management"; has been formed, and the association has played a catalytic and linking role in promoting the standardized construction of the combination of medical and nursing in China.

Vice President Chen Yunqi's keynote report of "Promoting the combination of medical and nursing care, taking the Road of National Health"; summarized and shared the research and practice of the combined medical and nursing service and management mode of the Chinese Geriatrics Society in the past four years. The "Guidelines for the Management of Hypertension in the Elderly in China (2019)" reported by Hua Qi, president of the Hypertension Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society, is of great significance for the promotion of hypertension prevention and treatment in aging China.

Another highlight of this conference is the 2019 "Joint Meeting of Collaborative Network Units" held by the National Clinical Medical Research Center for Geriatric Diseases of the PLA General Hospital. Director Fan Li awarded the new cooperative network unit and made an important speech, Executive Deputy Director Cao Feng informed the center's 2019 annual work plan, and lecturing experts were trained around "multi-center clinical research design and methods" and ";New technology and new business promotion experience exchange";. Director Fan Li led a multidisciplinary team of experts to the First Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu Medical College to carry out the "Grassroots geriatric Medical Care 10,000 miles training";, to carry out teaching rounds and case discussions for the diagnosis and treatment of elderly comorbidies-related diseases, and to hold a large-scale free clinic activity in Huangvius Square in Chengdu for local elderly patients to consult free clinics, attracting a total of more than 300 local elderly patients to come to consult.
