On November 22-24, 2024, the 3rd Academic Meeting of the Sports Health Branch of the Chinese Geriatrics Society and the 2024 Sports Health Integration Exchange Activity was successfully held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province.

During the meeting, the "Sports health · Physical health Integration" paper abstract and popular science video collection exchange exhibition activities were held. On the morning of the 24th, excellent works were displayed and exchanged. Experts from Hangzhou Sports Bureau, Hangzhou Chenjinglun Sports School and an expert team composed of Ni Guoxin, Wang Lin, Ma Lina, Duan Hongyan, Zou Yanhui and Rong Xiangjiang made professional comments on each work.

Among them, Kang Ju, Chen Wanqiang and Liu Xingchi from the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine/Sports Rehabilitation Management Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Lanzhou University demonstrated "A comparative study on the effects of interference electrotherapy combined with two different core stability training on pain degree, lumbar function and gait symmetry of patients with lumbar disc herniation". Xing Shaowen, National Clinical Research Center for Geriatric Diseases, Xuanwu Hospital, Capital Medical University, demonstrated "the decline of motor ability and its relationship with cognitive function in elderly people in the community"; Binglong Wang and Xiaoyan Chen, Zigong Hospital, Southwest Medical University, "Appropriate alcohol intake on muscle mass/function in female mice"; Lu Qu, School of Health Management Policy, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College, presented "Predictive study of Grip Body Mass Index on fall recognition in elderly people"; Hua Nan from the Department of Geriatric Medicine at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine presented "Construction and feasibility study of mixed exercise intervention model for the elderly in community and home Settings".

The academic atmosphere of the whole event was strong, the representatives and experts exchanged actively, and everyone said that they had gained a lot. These high-quality reports and papers not only provide valuable exchange and learning opportunities for young scholars and delegates, but also promote the development of geriatric sports and health. It is believed that in the future, the integration of physical health will continue to deepen and contribute more to the health and happiness of the elderly.
