To thoroughly implement the national strategy of proactively responding to population aging, contribute to the construction of a Healthy China, and carry forward the traditional virtue of respecting the elderly, on March 19, 2026, the Health Management Branch of the China Geriatrics Society, in collaboration with the College of Geriatric Welfare of Civil Affairs Vocational University, organized a volunteer team of teachers and students to visit the Shouzuo Yuyuan Si Li Community in Guanyinsi Sub-district, Daxing District, Beijing. Carry out the "Party Building + Free Medical Consultation" public welfare activity to provide "one-stop" home health services for the elderly living at home in the community.

The service team went deep into the front line of the community to measure blood pressure for the elderly, perform traditional Chinese medicine auricular point pressing, carry out health massage, and provide personalized guidance on issues such as chronic disease management, daily medication, and nutritional diet. The professional skills and patient attitude of the teachers and students won unanimous praise from the elderly. Community residents all said, "Such service has reached our hearts. It is both considerate and practical."

This free medical consultation event not only continues and deepens the "Party Building + Free Medical Consultation" series of public welfare actions of the Health Management Branch, but also provides real social service scenarios and practical platforms for students majoring in health management, smart health care and other fields, achieving an organic integration of professional teaching and social demands. By transforming what they have learned in the classroom into practical actions to serve the people's livelihood, students deepen their professional understanding and enhance their practical abilities in the process of service, providing strong support for actively responding to population aging, promoting the implementation of the Healthy China strategy and the cultivation of talents in related fields.
