From May 14th to 15th, the launch ceremony of the "Party Flag Fluters, Warmth Spreads to the Elderly - Chronic Wound Relief Project for the Elderly Living Alone" public welfare activity of the Burn and Trauma Branch of the Chinese Society of Geriatrics was grandly held in Nanchang. On the morning of May 15th, the launch ceremony of the "Party Flag Fluttering, Warmth for the Elderly - Chronic Wound Relief Project for the Elderly Living Alone" public welfare activity of the Burn and Trauma Branch of the Chinese Society of Geriatrics was grandly held in Nanchang. Professor Fu Xiaobing, President of the Chinese Society of Geriatrics and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Professor Liao LAN, Party Secretary of the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University, Professor Le Aiping, Vice President of the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University, Professor Guo Guanghua, Vice President of the Chinese Society of Geriatrics and Director of the Burn and Trauma Branch Professor Luo Gaoxing, the chairperson of the Burn Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and the president of the Asia-Pacific Burn Society, and other guests attended the launch meeting. With the acceleration of the aging process of the population, the incidence of burn and trauma and chronic refractory wounds among the elderly has been increasing year by year, which has become a public health issue that cannot be ignored. The "Party Flag Fluttering, Warmth for the Elderly - Chronic Wound Relief Project for the Elderly Living Alone" initiated by the Burn and Trauma Branch of the Chinese Society of Geriatrics is a large-scale public welfare activity. It started from southern Anhui, passed through the relay of Hefei, and today officially entered Nanchang. This is a warm relay led by Party building and bound by love. Under the guidance and active assistance of the Burn and Trauma Branch of the Chinese Geriatrics Society, the founding conference of the Burn and Trauma and Wound Repair Branch of the Jiangxi Geriatrics Society was successfully held on the evening of May 14th. The establishment of the branch has filled the gap of provincial-level academic societies in the field of elderly burn and trauma and chronic injury repair in Jiangxi Province, marking that the professional development in this region has entered a new stage of standardization and professionalization, and has built an important academic platform for improving the chronic injury treatment capabilities at the grassroots level throughout the province.

On the morning of May 15th, the first academic conference of the branch was opened.
