In recent years, with the development of society and medicine, standardized diagnosis and treatment of interstitial lung disease (ILD) has received increasing attention. The clinical manifestations of this disease lack specificity, and the clinical, imaging and pathological features overlap. The diagnosis and treatment still face many difficulties, and there is an urgent need for standardized diagnosis and treatment and multidisciplinary collaboration. Although China has made breakthroughs in related drugs, technologies and the MDT model, clinical understanding is still insufficient. To implement the Healthy China strategy and enhance the standardized diagnosis and treatment level of ILD, the Chinese Society of Geriatrics plans to hold a project to improve the standardized capacity of ILD and a multidisciplinary discussion on difficult cases in Zhengzhou from April to December 2026 in a hybrid online and offline format.
