September 18th - 20th The 2026 Annual General Meeting of the Third Committee of the Geriatric Medical Institution Management Branch of the Chinese Geriatrics Society and the Special Meeting on the Connotation Construction and Innovative Development of Geriatric Medical Institutions, as well as the 16th Meeting of the Geriatric Hospital Alliance, were hosted by the Geriatric Medical Institution Management Branch of the Chinese Geriatrics Society, organized by Luoyang New Milestone Hospital, and co-organized by the National Geriatric Hospital Alliance. It was successfully held in Luoyang, the ancient capital of thirteen dynasties and a famous historical and cultural city.

The conference was themed "Integrate, Enhance and Optimize - Building an Integrated Elderly Health Service System to Empower the New Pattern of High-Quality Development during the 15th Five-Year Plan Period". More than 200 people, including renowned experts in the field of geriatrics across the country, managers and medical staff of geriatric medical institutions at all levels, representatives of medical and elderly care integration institutions, and media representatives, gathered to focus on the connotation construction and innovative development of geriatric medical institutions. Unite Hearts and Minds - The Standing Committee Meeting Discussed the development of the Branch Together

On the evening of September 18th, the 2026 annual Standing Committee Meeting of the Third Committee of the Geriatric Medical Institution Management Branch of the Chinese Geriatrics Society was successfully held. The meeting was presided over by Zheng Xi, the general director of the branch. The chairperson, vice-chairpersons and standing committee members of the branch attended the meeting. Chen Zheng, the supervisor of the Chinese Geriatrics Society and the founding chairperson of its branch, and Yu Zhen, the chairperson of the branch, put forward work requirements regarding the standardized operation of the branch, the deployment of key tasks, and its long-term development direction. Li Bo, the deputy director of the Geriatric Medical Institution Management Branch, made a special report on the work carried out by the branch from 2025 to 2026. At the meeting, the attending committee members listened to the relevant situation of the branch's organizational construction, discussed the work related to the application for academic conferences in 2027, and participated in the compliance business training of the society. The opening ceremony was held at the main venue on the morning of September 19th. Xu Jiaren, vice president and secretary-general of the Chinese Society of Geriatrics, Chen Zheng, supervisor of the Chinese Society of Geriatrics and founding chairperson of the branch, and Yu Zhen, vice president of the Chinese Society of Geriatrics, chairperson of the Geriatric Medical Institution Management Branch and president of Beijing Geriatric Hospital, attended the meeting. Zheng Xi, the general director and standing committee member of the Geriatric Medical Institution Management Branch of the Chinese Geriatrics Society, presided over the opening ceremony.
