To thoroughly implement the Healthy China strategy and actively respond to the national strategy of population aging, on March 29th, a symposium on "Jointly Building a New Ecosystem of Integration of Sports and Medicine" was held in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province. Professor Liu Xuejun, Vice President of the Chinese Society of Geriatrics and President of the Shanxi Society of Geriatrics, Professor Hu Yixin, Executive Vice President of the Sports Health Branch of the Chinese Society of Geriatrics, Su Yajun, Vice Chairperson of the Chinese Senior Citizens' Sports Association and Chairperson of the Shanxi Senior Citizens' Sports Association, Wang Lin, Party Secretary and Chairman of Huajian Sports Group, and others attended the meeting. Jointly explore and carry out in-depth strategic cooperation in multiple aspects.

Focus on three strategic directions to build a silver health service system

The meeting clearly defined the core development path as "standardized construction, intelligent empowerment, and ecological operation", and focused on promoting three innovative practices:

I. Jointly build a standard system for elderly sports and health services. Jointly compile the "Blue Book on the Application of Artificial Intelligence Wearable Devices in Elderly Sports Health", organize experts in the fields of medical-sports-wearable technology and artificial intelligence to formulate group standards such as elderly-friendly exercise prescriptions and intelligent monitoring devices, and create a national benchmark for technical norms.

Second, build a smart sports and health monitoring platform. Integrate medical, sports and elderly care data resources to construct a full-cycle exercise health management system of "prevention - intervention - rehabilitation", and achieve scientific exercise guidance and dynamic risk early warning for the elderly.

Iii. Innovate the service model of integrating sports and medicine. Relying on the resources of the Sports Health Branch of the Chinese Geriatrics Society, the Shanxi Geriatrics Society, the Shanxi Senior Citizens' Sports Association, and Huajian Group, Shanxi Province will be selected as a pilot area for practice to jointly carry out activities such as academic forums, popular science, and training for senior citizens' sports guidance talents. Lay out and build a collaborative mechanism among hospitals, communities and senior citizens' sports associations, and deepen the creation of a "one-stop" service supported by the continuous integration service characteristics of geriatric medicine, including sports rehabilitation, scientific fitness guidance, prevention and treatment of frailty and sarcopenia, and chronic disease management, as well as a "scientific sports ecosystem at the doorstep".

Gather resources and forces from multiple parties to form a synergy for innovative development

The Sports Health Branch of the Chinese Geriatrics Society will leverage its interdisciplinary advantages and organize a team of top national experts to provide technical support. The Shanxi Senior Citizens' Sports Association and the Shanxi Geriatrics Society will leverage their organizational experience in organizing sports activities for the elderly in the community, as well as free medical consultations for science popularization. Huajian Sports Group will offer support and assistance in areas such as venue supply, standard setting, health guidance, and industrial incubation.

This symposium is an important practice in implementing the "14th Five-Year Plan for Healthy Aging". In the future, multiple parties will deeply explore the establishment of an innovative mechanism featuring "academic leadership + industrial support + financial empowerment", and actively implement various activities in practice, providing systematic solutions to health problems in an aging society and contributing wisdom and strength to the construction of a Healthy China.
