The kick-off meeting of the "Party Flag Fluters, Warmth Reaches the Elm" - Chronic Wound Relief Project for Elderly People Living Alone was grandly held here, marking the entry of this major public welfare project, initiated by the Burn and Trauma Branch of the Chinese Geriatrics Society and jointly advanced by multiple forces, into a substantive implementation stage. The kick-off meeting was presided over by Ma Tao, the vice president of the First Affiliated Hospital of Wannan Medical College. The core expert team has gathered more than ten well-known domestic medical institutions, including the First Affiliated Hospital of Wannan Medical College, the First Affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical University, Ganzhou Hospital of Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital, the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University, the First Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University, the General Hospital of the Southern Theater Command of the People's Liberation Army, the First Affiliated Hospital of Air Force Medical University, and the Eastern Hospital Affiliated to Tongji University in Shanghai A core force in the field of wound repair. The project has also received an enthusiastic response and public welfare support from many caring enterprises. The project is planned to last for five years and will be systematically advanced across the country. It is committed to building a sustainable and scalable multi-dimensional collaborative public welfare model of "Party building leadership - professional support - resource coordination - social mobilization", aiming to promote the formation of a new systematic public welfare pattern featuring the linkage of government and society, the integration of medical care and enterprises, and the participation of all citizens.
